McKenzie is CRAWLING!!!

I can't believe it! McKenzie is crawling now! It was so exciting to watch her crawl the first few feet! I was so overjoyed at her accomplishment. I know it probably doesn't seem like much but she is just growing so fast! I love watching her. I think I get more excited than she does! This is so fun and just the coolest thing to watch. She is really doing it! YEAH!

The Poppies

We went for a drive one day and got some really cute pictures in the Poppies. This year the poppies were amazing...they were everywhere and the hills looked gold during the day. I learned something new too...poppies close up at night and then pop back out during the day...it was cool! Anyways we had a great drive and McKenzie loved being outside.

Easter 2010!

McKenzie's first Easter! Dustin, Kylane, and Hailey were coming so we got Hailey and McKenzie matching Easter dresses. Brittney and Steven came down and we had a great surprise...Melindy and Robert came!!!! So everyone was here except Trev who is on a mission! It was a great Easter weekend. We had great food and lots of fun.
McKenzie didn't really care about the eggs or the treats...she loved the fake grass! She did look so cute in her Easter dress and Grandma Jones made socks to match both girls dresses.
Conference was amazing this year. What a great boost to help us teach what we need to at home! As Brandon's favorite scripture says..."Now is the time to prepare...". How neat it was to have conference on Easter. We are truly blessed.

What A Mess!

I was trying to get everything ready to go to Mutual. I was just feeding McKenzie her dinner of carrots and trying to finish cooking our dinner. And I was trying to do all of this in about 10 minutes because I was already going to be late for Mutual. I gave McKenzie a bite of carrots and turned to stir dinner. When I turned back around to finish feeding McKenzie this is what I found.....





What a Mess! So I quickly had to strip her down and get her bathed...dinner was left half cooked. And then I rushed off...late...to mutual! What a crazy and fun life. Who could get upset when they look this darn cute!

Trip to Grandma & Grandpa's!

Brandon's Dad had bank meetings in Ruidoso and so they let me tag along to see my parents. Who were thrilled because I was bringing McKenzie. We had a great time and my dad loved showing McKenzie everything on the Ranch! He was like...take a picture of Grandpa and McKenzie feeding the cows, at the pond, in Wal-Mart, on the Gator...it was so cute! Plus he fed McKenzie everything he could! It was a great trip.

Thomson's Came to Visit!

It was really cool. Brandon's mission companion Thomson and his family came to visit. It was so fun to visit with James and Erin, someone our age...YEAH! And McKenzie loved to watch Grace. Brandon and Thomson served together in Russia and we just learned that he was going to school in Mesa. They had a break and came down for a visit. We had a great time showing them the farm.
