Updates!

Lots of posts and lots of pictures.  We had a great year last year.  One last update...we are expecting our next little one in August again!  We should be able to find out what we are having this month!  So I'll keep you posted!

SNOW!!!

I forgot one post.  Right after Christmas we had some snow.  McKenzie loved it.  It was great.  She played in it for awhile.  Then we built a snowman and she was giving it kisses.  (Boy are we in trouble!)  But it was so fun...it didn't last long but we made the most of it.

Playing in the Corn!

Brandon had a little corn left over in the grain buggie so he put it inside this black tarp.  My dad and McKenzie had a great time playing in her corn sandbox.  He would bury her and she would just fling corn around.  It was great.

Santa and Christmas

Santa was an interesting experience.  I wasn't sure she would like him and she didn't.  When Brandon first took her up there she was excited and kept wanting to go but the longer they stood in line the more scared she got until she decided she didn't want him at all.  Oh well...try again next year!
Christmas was fantastic.  Lots of fun, family, and food.  We had a great family home evening the Christmas Eve night after alot of good Mexican food.  My mom helped with it this year and we learned about some of the people around Christ's birth.  Christmas was so fun...I was so excited for McKenzie to have a Christmas she could really participate in.  So I went and woke her up so that we could open presents.  Bad idea because she is a slow waker and so she really didn't even get into it until later...but it was a lot of fun.  Santa brought her a swing set and she loves it.   She could stay out there all day!  The girls also got matching dresses that Aunt Kylee made so they could wear them to church.

Christmas Tree Hunting

I love Christmas Tree hunting.  It is one of my favorite traditions.  We didn't get to go with all the cousins and do our big cook out this year, everyones schedules just didn't match.  But we took my parents and just went ourselves.  We actually found the most perfect Christmas tree.  It was great.  McKenzie loved being outside and loved the Christmas tree once it was put up.  We only had one problem where she thought her little chair should also go on the tree for decoration.  But for the most part she was very good with it.

Handy Helper

McKenzie was helping Brandon fix the washer!  It was so cute.  She loves to do whatever her daddy does and especially when he looks under things.

Cutest Girl Ever!

Isn't she the cutest little girl ever!!!  The Lindsey's gave her this cute little scrubs outfit and she looks so cute in it!

Halloween

Here is McKenzie in her froggie costume for Halloween.  She really like Halloween this year because everyone gave her suckers (because we are all suckers for her cute smile) and she LOVES suckers.  Brandon took her around the neighborhood in the wagon which she loved and she loved getting to see all the other kids.  I stayed and handed out candy.  We had fun carving pumpkins.  McKenzie kept trying to eat it but it was...yucky (her words)...but she still tried.  It was fun!
