Christmas 2011

Christmas was great this year.  Santa brought McKenzie a bicycle and it was wonderful she was so excited.  She wasn't even awake though so it took her a little while to get into it being Christmas.  Bailey loved all her new toys and just enjoyed watching everyone go crazy!  Christmas fell on a Sunday so we had to wake up extra early to do presents at our house and Brandon's parents before church!  We had a wonderful Sacrament meeting and came home to eat and enjoy everything.  We got to Skype with Rustin which was way cool to not only talk to him but to see him too! 

 Bailey wasn't too happy seeing Santa a couple weeks before at the Christmas party but McKenzie did just fine.

 It was fun to be with everyone and have a great time.  What a wonderful season and a chance to remember how blessed we are and our Heavenly Father loves us so much.

Christmas Tree Hunting

Christmas tree hunting was great.  Everyone that could be was there...missing Tino!  But we had a blast.  Of course we hiked all over but we found some awesome trees.  I truly think we found the perfect tree this year...it was great!  And the kids had a blast.

Fleeting Fall!

The leaves were so beautiful this year as they fell.  And one day we just went out and had a great time in them.  McKenzie loved just kicking them to hear the sound and she really loved it when I would rake them into a pile and she could run through it and scatter it out.  She also loved taking pictures in them with her little sister...they were so cute together...McKenzie would drop leaves and Bailey would just laugh and laugh!  What a fun, fun time of year!

Deer Hunting

This was a really neat year.  Dustin came down and Brandon was able to go with him on his Whitetail hunt..he got a nice Whitetail.  Then Trevin came home from his mission the Saturday of the hunt and on Monday all 5 boys (Brandon, Dustin, Trevin, Logan, Nathan, and their Dad) went out for the next hunt.  Brandon, Logan, and their Dad all had a tag!  This was Logan's first deer and he got it in one shot...it is really nice and he should be pretty proud.  Brandon and his Dad also got them a deer the next day...we spent forever taking care of meat but we are sure grateful this year to have it!

Halloween

 We carved pumpkins this year and dressed up and went Trick-or-Treating! McKenzie was a cute pirate...Bailey a flower...Mom was burnt...and Daddy with a fro!  My mom and dad came to hand out candy at my house...and Brandon's parents came over later to see the girls!  McKenzie loves her candy bowl and was on one great big sugar high!

Cotton Memories

We got to play in the cotton this year!  There was some cotton that needed dumped and so they dumped it right in front of the house for all the kids to play in.  They loved it...they played and built a castle!
