This year we went to the Zoo & Aquarium in Albuquerque, NM. It was an amazing trip. It was something I have wanted to do for a very long time. We took our time and went up on Thurs. night and spent the night with my Aunt Judy and Uncle Ron in Los Lunas. It was so fun to see them and we thank them so much for letting us stay there. We had a great time visiting. On Friday we all got up and went to the Zoo/Aquarium. It is really cool, they had lots of animals to see and it took quite a bit of time to look at everything. McKenzie was more interested in the other kids than the animals but I think she still had fun. Within the park you can take a train ride to the Aquarium. The train ride was really neat and a welcome relief to our feet by then.
The Aquarium was by far my favorite part of the whole thing. It was so cool to see all those fish swimming around. And they had divers go down into the tank to feed them and it was awesome to see all the fish swarm them. We stayed the night at Aunt Judy's again and celebrated her birthday. We went yard saleing and just had fun. Then our car headed to Ruidoso. Mom wanted to stop in and surprise everyone on Sunday. So we got to Ruidoso on Saturday night and stayed at a hotel where Brandon, McKenzie and I just relaxed in the pool (McKenzie's favorite part of the whole vacation) and ate a really great dinner and just relaxed. Mother's Day was good we went to church in Ruidoso and visited with everyone there. A really great time!
